Australia student visa system, Illusion and Reality

Australia is changing student visa processing from first July. It will benefit Nepalese student who wants to go to study truly more or less. But it’s not as easy as they are talking in the market. Australia will now employment Simplified Student Visa Framework (SSVF), which will benefit for sincere students. Visa process will be done through online and there will be no paper based documents so it’s quite difficult for those who has low income source and still wants to go to Australia for study. It used to take 6 weeks for processing and will take only 4 weeks for processing. Students have to pay visa fees through online via debit card or credit card. But there are few errors in banking system in Nepal so Nepalese Association of Australian Education Representative (NAAYR) is talking with Rashtra Bank.
Nepal at AAL 2 LEVEL
Australia has kept Nepal in Assessment Level-2, before Nepal was at level-3 that’s why it’s has made visa processing quite easier than before but it has disadvantage for those who tries to go to Australia with fraud document. According to president of NAAYR Shrikrishna Shrestha Australia has given three levels to different countries and their universities so Nepalese students can apply for AAL 1 and 2 level colleges. To apply student can only inform about their families income source, bank balance and property information student do not have to show bank statement and other financial document like these days. Students must claim that one can invest minimum 19 thousand 8 hundred dollar per year while applying. But to apply at third level collages students must submit financial documents.
ILLUSION AND REALITY
Some of them are saying that students do not have to show financial document to go to Australia but it’s not cent percent true. Though students don’t have to submit their financial document but there is a rule saying “they can ask if needed”. Because of this rule those who has low income source are in quite risk. If embassy ask for financial document visa processing might be unsuccessful so one should not apply without preparing financial document. Embassy may ask for financial document anytime so student must prepare financial document along with other necessary document before applying for a student visa. For those whose family pays sixty thousand dollar income source per year can get visa easily. But it’s difficult for those who doesn’t have strong income source because embassy may ask for financial document as per their paper and if applicant can’t provide document as per their paper then student will be in high risk of getting visa
