


Chukauni Recipie !!!
INGREDIENTS
1. Potato(अालु)-300 gm
2.Yoghurt(दही)-250 ml

3.Onion-2 medium sized
4.Green Chillies-3 whole
5.Fenugreek seed(मेथी)-10 gm
6.Mustard Oil(ताेरी काे तेल)- 20 ml
7.Coriander leaves - garnish
8.Ginger garlic paste-1 teaspoon
9.Cumin and Coriander powder- 1 tablespoon
9.Salt-to taste
1.Boil the potatoes with little salt in water.
2.Beat yogurt until you get a smooth texture.
3.Now cut the green chilly and onions(can be diced or sliced)and keep it aside.
4.Cut potatoes into cube shape..
5.Now in larger bowl keep potato,curd,onion and just over it put ginger garlic paste,salt,turmeric,cumin and coriander powder and green chilly..Don't mix it now,see next step.
6.In separate pan heat the mustard oil then when oil slowly gives out smoke immediately add fenugreek seeds (called as tempering generally) now carefully & quickly pour it over the masalas.
7.Add some coriander leaves and pinch of red chilly powder and stir it nicely.
#Chukauni mostly is served cold so refrigerate for around half an hour then serve.
# you can also add boil peas or chickpeas into it.
#it can be given with beaten rice or puffed rice too..
